My Story

Ron Kaz is a retired carpenter with a lifetime vocation as a peace and justice activist. His activism first began in 1969 when he was a highschooler. He has spent 35 years working on a broad spectrum of human rights issues with the South Carolina chapter of Amnesty International. For the last 25 years, his main focus has been the death penalty and women's reproductive rights. His work with SCADP started in the early 1980's as a Board Member and Steering Committee Member.
