About Alma
Alma Busby-Williams, originally from Oakland, California, is now based in Summerville, South Carolina. She earned her undergraduate degree from Auburn University and her law degree from New College of California School of Law, interning with Legal Aid of Alameda County and going on to work with Alabama Legal Services Corporation before launching her own training business.
​
Inspired by mentor Esther Brown, Alma has long been engaged in anti-death penalty advocacy and is now exited to dedicate her time to supporting g South Carolinians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty.
​
In her free time, she enjoys writing and visiting her children and grandson on the West Coast.
